Create a Sourcing Task

Start an AI sourcing task by describing your hiring needs. Mira's agent analyzes your input, asks clarifying questions, and delivers a targeted shortlist.

A Task is a complete talent sourcing request. Each Task is an ongoing conversation between you and Mira's Agent: you describe what you need and the Agent delivers a candidate list.

Starting a new Task

New Task screen with text input and suggested scenarios

You have three ways to create a Task:

Option 1: Click "New Task"

Click New Task in the top-left of the sidebar. This opens a fresh conversation with an empty input field.

Option 2: Type in the input field

On the main screen, type your requirements directly into the text input and click Send Message.

Option 3: Use a suggested scenario

Below the input field, Mira displays example prompts tailored to common recruiting scenarios. Click any of them to pre-fill the input with a realistic sourcing request. You can use it as-is or edit it before submitting.

What to include in your description

The more context you provide, the better Mira's results. Here are the key elements:

ElementExampleImpact
Role / title"Senior full-stack engineer"Defines the search scope
Key skills"React, Node.js, TypeScript"Narrows technical requirements
Experience level"5+ years" or "has managed a team"Sets seniority expectations
Company type"high-growth startup" or "enterprise"Filters by background
Location"Berlin or remote"Geographic targeting
Implicit criteria"has built something from 0 to 1"Mira Reasoning Embedding understands these

You don't need to provide all of these. Mira will ask clarifying questions about anything important that's missing.

After you submit

The Agent will:

  1. Analyze your input and identify what it understands.
  2. Generate a clarification form with structured questions (seniority, candidate count, preferences), when needed.
  3. Pre-select reasonable defaults based on your description.
  4. Wait for you to review and confirm before starting the search.

All your Tasks are listed in the left sidebar. You can:

  • Click any Task to return to its conversation.
